Hey all , plan on hitting the Missouri River down around Tabor Iowa this weekend . Anybody got any suggestions for bait?
Thanks

I'm not familiar with that stretch, but cut bait is a good bet. Fresh shad would be best, but fresh bluegill or sunfish should do pretty good, too. I've seen shrimp and hotdogs produce if you want to just buy bait, and worms too, of course.
Are flatheads common in that section? If so, I'd also throw out a live sunfish or two.
Good luck out there!

Your probably going to put in at Bartlett ramp if your fishing close to Tabor. Grew up just no. of there and fished this area of the Mo. river alot. Good flathead area, use sun fish and blue gills live. You can get a bunch of them at Pinkys Glen lake just west of Tabor. Good luck, let us know how you do...
