Catfish article in Outdoor Alabama

Outdoor Alabama, the semi-regular publication of the Alabama Department of Conservation, has an article on catfishing in Wheeler Reservoir in north Alabama. It's my home lake now that I've moved to Huntsville. Not really much in there I didn't know, it was a simple article. But was glad to see it highlight the species. It's the first time since I've subscribed that I've seen an article on catfishing. I subscribed to the magazine through the Alabama Conservation website.

Glad to see catfishing is starting to get noticed, i am thinking of getting a subscribtion of that magazine myself.

David had a subscription but let it lapse. Honestly a little too much deer hunting for my taste, though I do hunt, it's just an overload to me.

BamaCats - it's relatively cheap. 8 bucks for five issues. They cover a little bit of everything but usually has something cool.
