Big channel catfish from Monongahela River

Went out last night and this was the only fish I caught.Went with fellow member hunting for cats who got a couple of flaties and channels and two nice smallies.Almost beat by personal best for channels weighed in at 16.5 pounds. The pictures do not do this fish justice it was huge and fought like a champ.

Went out tonight with huntinforcats and he got a monster channel. Me got skunked but had fun anyway if Brian sees this ask him how this fish got landed. The channel weighed 15 pounds and ate a live sucker.

I reeled it in but Mark did all the work. I set the hook and it took me in a snag the other poles baitrunner went off so I handed Mark the one that took me in a snag.
Mark got the one out in a snag and handed me the pole and this channel was on the end, I don't think I could have got this fish out of the snag he did patience is a virtue.
