Man I was out all night last night (9pm-6am) without a single run! Not even a slight tug from my bullhead! Its that time of year. It makes the decison to hit the river alittle more difficult when you know things are going to be so slow and once on the river it makes it hard to leave without getting any action. I am always afraid I am gonna leave right before they start biting.

I know the feeling. feels like I am either to early are to late to catch any fish. But I stuck it out and have been cathing some fish nothing giant but some nice eaters.

Not sure what section your fishing. But this month has been good for me on the MN. Boated a 14lb 12oz Flatty tonight. Had one that popped a hook. and had a nice hit that left my bait for dead. Crunched.
Saw a guy at the launch at the launch that spanked the channels.
He had one that was close to 15lbs and a couple in the 7-10lb range.
Hope it picks up for you soon.
thanks

Its not often that I go out and not at least get some runs. I think it has to do with the flats finishing up the spawn in this stretch of the river right now. But what I do know the river sure is getting low around here.
