Question on Wekiva river

Has anyone fished the Wekiva river around the Apopka / Sanford area for channel cats lately?

Yep My grandaughter and I fished the wekiva last fri caught about 50, kept 11 for dinner, all were full of roe so only keep the small ones and just enough to eat .we fished up stream from deadfall and weed barges and used big hunks of liver and shrimp for bait ,liver was best .
