Anyone know of any good places to recomend for a first time fisher in the Cape Fear?

i just want to know were anyone can recomend to fish in the Cape.

Pick a spot. I think we have caught fish about everywhere we've thrown an anchor out or bank fished at some point.
Never had a dry run on the Cape Fear around Fayetteville.

Like mark said anywhere on that river. There biteing like crazy now so i would get out there next chance you get. If you have a boat a great place to go would be down to rockfish creek or you can go up stream to were the RR crosses the river and fish that log jam thats a great place.Any of the lock and dams are always good lock 3 has a lot of room on the bank to fish. Just pick a spot find some breaks in the current use eels or shad for blues and channels and live bream or blugills and small cats for the flatties
