friday Evening When I Went Home, I Opend The Back Door To Let My Min-pins Out, And Heard Them Barking. I Dismissed It, Cause Their Min-pins, Hell They Bark At Everything, They Think They're Pit Bulls...lol...anyways I Peeped Out The Window And Saw This Lil' Gator. I Ran Outside And Grabbed The Puppies, Threw Them Inside, Chased Him For A Sec, And Grabbed Him. Jaden Thought This Was The Funniest Thing, Cause I Was Makin' Sure I Wasn't Gonna Get Bitten'..lol...i Brought Him Inside And Taped His Mouth Shut, So Jaden Could Play With Him For A Little While. We Took Some Pic's, Showed The Neighbors, And Let Him Go In Lake Maurepas. He Was So Damn Cute, And Really Not Hot Tempered.

I could definitely do without having an alligator in my yard. I'll stay up north.

Jayden is obviuosly a very luck little boy to be able to be exposed to as many facets of nature as you have posted. I have never even touched a gator before. I wish that I had that when I was growing up.

At least the puppies wasn't a gator meal. Looks like jaydon was haveing a great time. How many times have you had gators in your yard. THe only thing I have show up is deer, coons wild rabbits. But no GATORS. You can keep them critters down your way. Thanks but no thanks. Great pictures though.

neet picture but you might want to be careful posting it, in some places it is very much against the law to handle them.
it is a cool keepsake .

Those pour dogs would perish because this Midwestern boy wouldn't know what to do.
Actually saw a few in Alabama when I was down there. Also a funny story. I was posted as the Desk Sergeant for our Law Enforcement Desk one night and I got a call from base housing. The lady says, "there's a two foot long alligator lying on the sidewalk." It's night time by the way. So I have to send my only free patrolman out there to validate the call. Of course he's from Oregon and has just as much of a clue as I do about Alligators. So he gets on scene, radios back, and says "yep, there's an alligator lying on the sidewalk about 20 feet from my squad car." So I call Montgomery Police Department's animal control. They send out their animal unit, and after approaching this motionless gator they realize it's a toy. Man did we look like some Barney Fifes there.

I would definitely keep an eye on the pooches. If one can find it's way to your backyard, who's to say momma can't. They eat all kinds of critters, they just love dogs, and some people too. Florida just recently had a rash of gator attacks on people. I live on the edge of the Okeefenokee swamp, and gators are a part of the scenery here. You have to keep a watchful eye around them, we call it being "swamp wise", you never know which one is viewing you as a ham sandwich, or protecting her nest. Good fishin', Jack.

You might want to check out the yard in the future. That thing has a momma, and lots of other kin.

I'll take my M4 Carbine with M68 floating red dot optic, rail system, front mounted pistol grip, pelican light with red/white flip cover, PAQ4C Infared aiming device, and 210 rounds of 5.56. Mount my PVS 14 behind the M68 and I'll kill anything at night.
But you got me on the glock. Yet your uniforms still make me say SECURITY GUARD.

Nice gator and managable too. We go gar fishing near marapas and pontchatrain every year and see many a little larger than that one though. Glad the puppies are okay. That gator (although it illegal) would be just right for fryin....lol. Looks like the young one is enjoyin himself too.friday Evening When I Went Home, I Opend The Back Door To Let My Min-pins Out, And Heard Them Barking. You are a TRUE Cajun!! Great pictures. Your little boy looks like he's having a blast! But, like some of the others have said, make sure Ole Momma Gator ain't around, or you'll lose those Min-Pins. And be SURE to keep a close check on that sweet boy. But a really cool story! Typical Louisiana, huh??
