Hunting In Wilmington, NC

Just got Stationed here this summer and was wondering where I could hunt. I'm looking for anything really; private, public or even a hunting club.

Hey there, I was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC, and around there, theres a lot of public ground.. I never hunted a hunting club grounds, but I always had this old man let me use his land, pulled a nice 8 pointer out down there....I am from Wisconsin, and up here the deer are a lot more fuller, and larger, pushign nearly 200 to 250 pounds...But you got to look around, theres always someone who doesnt use their land to hunt on, and in NC, its not hard, just drive around sometimes, and find what ya looking for, ask the fellow, and I'm sure hiell let ya use it for hunting....

There is plenty of hunting clubs in Pender county along with Game lands.
Camp Leguene used to offer deer hunts on the base and I imagine they still do. Watch out for bears and rattlers. :D
