ibohunter - Welcome to the B.O.C.!:0a25: Like Rockjumper said the Allegheny has a lot of Carp. I usually do well fishing Lock & Dam #6 with doughball. Corn would probably be another good bait choice. Now as far as fishing for Catfish from shore goes, any of the Lock & Dam areas are good choices. Camping can be done at some places although I don't know of any "official" campgrounds. I see people camp at Lock & Dam #8 and Lock & Dam #6 often along the shore. You can drive right down to the water and toss up a tent, build a fire and no one will bother you. Let me know if you need more info!

[Bibohunter - Lock #6 is at Clinton which is a fairly remote location. Lock #8 is at Templeton which is is also somewhat remote. If you indeed are coming this way I would be more than happy to show you where to go!]

:0a25: Welcome to the BOC. Like pacatchaser said Lock & Dam 6 at Clinton is a good place for carp. I've had luck there using garlic liver. Usually right before it starts to get dark they seem to suck up that liver. Good luck!
