Ohio River

Hey guys just wondering if anyone is having any luck on the Ohio River and if so where at? I can't seem to find a good bite anywhere.

Better luck next time out Ryan, I know the spawn is on for Flatheads. That will hurt ya a little.

I didn't know heads spawned this late. maybe thats why the bite is so bad right now.

Ryan, I caught 2 small ones last night on cut bluegill heads. I fish the Hannibal and Pike Island pools. The larger flatheads have started spawning from what I can tell. They usually start the spawn from now until the end of July each year depending on water temp (70 degrees or higher).

I llike to hang it up the Ohio River till late August when things start picking up again.
