Pike County Brother lookin for pointers

I am a new member in Pike County and do alot of fishing at the spillway at Fishtrap lake. Now I am new to catfishing and enjoy catching all types. However for that type of environment what kind of techniques or baits would be the best since it is deep swift water with one or two calm parts towards the end of the spillway.

Brandon, have you tried any creek chubs? I haven't fished right at the spillway this year, but I've caught a few between there and the bridge. Been catching a lot of small ones in the backwaters of the lake.

you would need a boat anchor to keep your line down in that water lol
