has the spawn started for flathead catfish in Kentucky?

just wondering if the spawn has started for flatheads. i have caught several small ones but no biggies.

well... i aint no expert or anything but here i think they are cause i havent cought jack squat but they should be done very soon HERE but they could be just starting or in the middle of spawn or at the end but im pretty sure it lasts just around like 2 weeks

BUT again i am not a expert lol

I am thinking that they should be very close to the end. The action has slowed down here quite a bit for the past 3 to 4 weeks. So I am guessing that for the lower Colorado river region, we should see em picking up again very soon.

EXACT SAME HERE

i have fished at this one place that i know has some flats in it and for like the past 3 weeks i havent cought nothing out of there

oh and there is a ton of channels in there
lol all there is in that pond is cats and bluegill, which is good cause of bait lol

Most journals and fish and wildlife magazines agree on mid to late june depending on temperature so that would put us in early spawn now.
