Robert (metalfisher) and I met at the dam on the relief canal at Payneway yesterday afternoon for a bit of fishing. There was a lot of fishing going on but no catching. I had several good pulldowns . I had one on for a few seconds and he felt heavy. Another one tried to steal my r/r but by the time I got my hands back on the rod he was gone.
Robert's son joined us for a while, but left about dark as I did cause the skeeters were out with a vengeance. I enjoyed meeting both of them and hope to do it again soon.
