How long do catfish usually spawn and would right after they finish be a good time to fish?

Usually about 2 weeks. Channels are almost over. Caught 4 the other night and only had eggs in it. If Im not mistaken the flats will be the last to go.

oh well ty so thier are almost over when they carry the eggs?
