I read an article on the Illinois Game & Fish website, and I read that Lake Shabbona is a good channel and bullhead lake. Any fish that lake? Good Spots?

yeah i fished there all the time the catfish in there are huge trust me bullhead, flathead, what ever you like and the get huge if you fish right and bring the right tackle you could break a record
Are there any good places at Shabbona that you can fish from shore?
Also, what type of bait do you use and do you fish on or off the
bottom? Thank you for any info!!

I've never fished Shabbona, but here's a link to a pretty good (and free) topo map that might help you find a spot.
