Thanks guys! I dunno how long it took but it didnt seem like very long but since the river was up there were alot of brush in the water near shore and I had to work him through that stuff which took alittle finessing but with my new 9ft rod it made things alot easier. I am really liking this 9ft king kat pro rod. I had been using an 8ft King Kat for the past couple of seasons and it worked great but I figured an extra foot wouldnt hurt since I mostly shore fish. A buddy of mine got a 31lber near that spot two nights later. We are suppose to have great weather this weekend so I am ready to get back out!
