Mt Sterling Lake in Illinois

What state is this located in?? There is a Mt. Sterling in Ohio not too far from me but if there is a lake out there named after the town I have never heard of it.

what about you, IL Hunter, have you ever fished this lake? It wouldn't be too far from Macomb, maybe 30 miles or so

I actually didn't even know there was a Mt Sterling lake, but it sounds like I need to check it out. I'm constantly through that area on my way to Griggsville.

I have never fished it, but a co-worker of mine fished it last weekend and caught a grand total of 1 blue gill. Maybe just a bad day??

I went coyote huntng by mt sterling last weekend and stoped at the lake to try to catch some dinner. The only thing I caught was a bluegill in my throw net. I think on the way out I saw a sign that said it was two dollors to fish there.
