I just hate to go fishing on the weekends. The crowds are so large and so many a$$ holes on those pwc's that it isn't even fun to fish.
Last time I was out on the weekend I couldn't even launch because of all the pwc crowd on the ramp.

What Waters Are You Fishing Hoot????????
I have fished the withacoochee river {about dry now} without sucess. A small lake close to home, full of weeds now and can only fish about 1/4 of it. A lake close to Dade City, it is fished to death. About the only other option is lake Panasoffkee and I have no idea where to start. I did fish the dam there, no luck. I fished moss dam, no luck there either. I may have to start back bass fishing. This just isn't a good area for catfishing. I hate to drive 80 miles to fish for the day.

Try Cargill in Lakeland. Old Phospate mining operation.

Pulling bass, bluegill, crappie, stumpknockers, etc...

But for YOUR needs, I pulled a 6lb channel out on a CRANKBAIT!!! haha

Haven't tried to fish catfish yet because my buddy with the boat likes to bass fish but if I ever get a chance...

have you tried around nobleton when the withlacoochee is really low there's water to fish
from nobleton go toward bushnell cross the bridge, pass a con. store on the left take the first road to the right, followthe road into the trees,go to the ramp walk to right to the river there,s always water there, try scorched chicken hotdogs, also one of my favorite camping spots

How you doing hoot, I live over here in dunnellon, thats 25 miles west of ocala on 484. The withlacoochee is full of water here, You can put in the boat at the public ramp and follow that around to the beach area where that rainbow river and the withlacoochee meet and catch a few. I,ve caught a couple of 18 to 20 pound blue,s there. And your right you have to fish at night ,,,,,,, kinda hard to fish in the day with all jet ski,s. But i do most of my fishing at night any ways ,,,to hot in the day . But can fish at any time day or night or all week long and week ends. Give me a call some time and we will set something up. 352-489-1256. BC (catnabbin)
