I was out fishing today this guy saw me cast one rig with one of AKWOLF bobbers and one on the bottom, he came right over both of them and took both rigs I was able to cut them before my poles went with him. I can only hope that it wrapped so tight around his prop shaft to seize the motor. Why are people so rude all he had to do is ask but he came within 10ft of where I was fishing.

10 ft is close enough to buy / throw him a beer. Hard. Or follow RIP's advice.

Let's hope he's still paddling back to the ramp after the mono wore out the seal!

Bal bearings are good but you get more range and velocity with cheap marbles.

I know how you feel, My wife and I were out the same day and had one of those #@%$offs pass by us within 15 yards at full speed. They are not in short supply and unfortunatly can be found just about anywhere on the weekends.

My Friend Has A Boat Rental Buisness At The Lake Where I Fish, Needless To Say He Has A Dock:tounge_out: , But When His Customers Are Trying To Board The Boats Or The Little Kids Are Trying To Fish, These Rude SOB's Deliberately Wake Them Or Cut Off Their Lines.

Now What Really Pisses Me Off More Than Anything About This Ongoing Problem Is that It Makes It A Unpleaseant Experience For The Kids. if They Never Feel Like Going Again, Then We Have Lost Our Future Sportsmen/Women.

Since Firing Marbles & Ball Bearings @ Them Is Illegal, I Have Come Up With A Solution Which @ Least Makes Me Feel Better And Sometimes Even The Kids Get a Chuckle Out Of It.

I Take One Of My Big Ocean R/R Rigs Equipped With MONEL Wire And Cast It Out With A Jug One The End. Then I Set The Drag Very Lightly, When They Come By The Wire Wraps Up In The Prop.  . I Take Wire Cutters And Nip The Line Off At My Reel. I'd Take a video If It Wouldn't Incriminate Me :cool2: , Elliot

Naw, you don't want to do anything that could be construed to be assault. Of course, if you're just casting out normally with a 6 or 8 ounce sinker and it happens to hit his motor, or even him, well, that's a terribly unfortunate accident, but it's his own fault for coming so close. I accidentally almost clothslined a guy out of his boat like that while fishing at Pickwick. Badkarma had already accidentally bounced a 6 ounce sinker off his outboard, but he didn't pay any attention to the danger he was putting himself in. After the second accident, he moved to a safer location.

This happened to me too....

Lake of the ozarks, trolling for white bass.
I huge boat pulled up along side asking me for a location... (bridal cave),
I gave him dirrections... then he backed off just a little and ran right over my lines full speed snagging them all! Me and my wife grabbed our poles just in time, lost all our line and were left there steaming mad.

You all might be suprised at how far a man can throw a 3 oz. egg sinker I chucked one at a guy on a sea do this week end and he came back and was laughing about it. Damn shame I'm not better at throwing, I'd have chucked another one. I'd like to learn that wire trick and figure out how to use it on those things and owners!!!!!

That I guess is the main reason i quit fishing the local resivor ,and sold my boat..I lost my temper at a Jet skier who ran between me anda rock wall in a no ski zone, and almost cost me a reel and rod... just stopped myself before i gave him 14 reeasons to think twice before he did that again! It was time for me to leave the lake..

Egg sinker of size you prefer, a little line tied to it, then wrist rocket to fire it with. Oh sorry, my line must have broke when I was casting out.

it wasnt to long ago a jet skiier damn near killed a couple of kayakers, he kept swarming around them trying to tip them over, he succeded, the water was still old, and they were several hundred yards from the beach they had to swim back pushing the kayaks in front of them cause the skiier wouldnt let them alone long enough to get back in, one got the hull numbers and informed park police who arrested the guy at the doks whil he was loading up
