Saylorville Iowa - Catfish?

Does anyone do any drifting on Saylorville? I'd like to arrange a trip to take my brothers out drifting some weekend this summer. Saylorville is less of a drive for them.

i dont do a lot of lake fishing but if you can find some nice coves on that lake good luck.i haved boated and jet skyed on the lake but never tryed to fish it to much traffic good luck

It has been several years ago, but we had some large hits while drifting unanchored just to the south side of the concrete bridge pillars toward the northern end of the lake. Also used to be a creek channel that came out from shore area at the north end east of the marina. May be a good place to try out. Hope this was somewhat helpful.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I was kind of worried about high traffic, especially if I want to fish daytime. I'm thinking maybe Red Rock might be a better option for drifting.
