For those who have not been you need to go. Everything a catfisherman needs is in the Bass Pro Shop. I went last weekend. They had a tank with big blue cats, black carp, bass, bream, alligator gar's, and drum. Nice exhibit. Located off sugerloaf parkway on 85 north.

I have been to the Bass Pro Shop in Atlanta...it is very nice. My wife and I would go there all the time when we lived in Atlanta. She would go shopping in the rest of the mall and I would stay in Bass Pro and druel over all the fishing gear.

It is a nice place.

Last I heard they were putting one in the Pyramid in Memphis. Be a good place to stop by on the way to Tunica. Spend all my money in there before I got to the casino's. At least I would have something to show for it that way.

I have been to the one in Memphis so much I think they are about ready to give me my own parking space. When they get the Pyramid open, I may never make it home, have to drive by there twice a day.

if you want a discount, drive to savannah, ga. Look me up and ill do what i can. basspro is strange about thier discounts anyway. i was all kinds of excited first off but i have gone back to my usual haunts as far as tackle goes.

I go up the one in charlotte, cuz its the nearest to me, its got everything you could want in there, and if you want a little kickback look into their rewards program, you dont get a lot but if you shop their alot then the points really add up.

I really like bass pro/cabela's. They are kind of expensive, but have a great selection.

Ever heard of CatfishPro shops. Didn't think so. Wonder why so many catmen willing walk into a BASS pro shop.

what i find amusing is the total lack of catfishing supplies in basspro, its disgusting. in the one in savannah, there are aisles upon aisles of plastic worms, bream jigs, boat junk, camping crap, hunting stuff. and about four feet of shelf space set aside in a back corner for catfishing stuff. they have a fly fishing shop inside basspro. its insane.

When in Savannah, I stop at BPS since this is currently the closest one but they are supposed to be building one in Macon which would be closer. The BPS in Savannah is adjoining the Mall and this works good since my better half can do her thing in the Mall and leave me at BPS. I spend all my time in BPS and have never been in the Mall. They have to complete the distribution warehouse first though. When in Macon, I now shop at Academy Sports which is pretty nice. Wish I knew your wife Dave and I'd hit her up for a discount.
