Would it be safe to put an inflatable pontoon boat on REND LAKE and fish for cats, I figure it would be nice to try and put one of my inflatable pontoons out there and have some fun next time I went camping. I know it's pretty shallow but I've heard that when it's windy that the waves can get pretty high due to the shallowness of the lake.

I wouldn't do it if it was me. There are stump fields out there on that lake, so I have been told. I think it would be way to dangerous.

An inflatable pontoon...

Catfishing in an inflatable pontoon...

Catching a fiddler with spines sharp as needles in an inflatable pontoon...

:cool2: Nevermind, I'll just sit back and watch...

I wouldn't try it, but if you do remember the floation devices.

Well, I figure you only live once and I figure I might give it a try. Figure I'd try the area around the marina. If not catfish I might try crappie or the bass fish, have all equipment to be safe----haven't been on it yet since I've had it and thought it might be fun to try.
