Last week caught a 4 and a 3 pounder on noodles and rock bass for bait. I use them more like throw lines because I don't have a boat yet.

Last week Whistler and Kitty Catcher caught 4 Blue Catfish that about 4 lbs a piece. We fished with them a couple times last year. It is a good way to put fish in the freezer.

I've used them two weekends in a row and done really well below the local dam. We caught 13 two weekends ago and 11 this past Saturday. We fished out of the boat with poles for about 4 hours in the rain and never caught anything until we started jugging. Average fish were about 6lbs and the biggest was around twelve pounds. Everything was caught on cut shad. Even caught two large gar's... those misleading pests!

That's the only down side to using cut shad and bream!!!
Glad you're having success with it!!

I fish with ridgerunner, he noodles and I R&R mostly. I am starting to do throw lines using noodles. Use to trot years ago and am thinking about doing that again to stock up the freezer so we can have fish this winter also. Fish once or twice a week is good. I eat a lot of different species, but cats are favorites of me and the wife both.
