Has anybody fish for flats at the tonto creek area where it flows into the lake? this is located in the tonto basin area. Wondering about how the lake level has effected that area. Any info is appreciated.

I'm re-baiting this to see if I can get a bite.

If it was me I would stay out of the Tonto end. While i'm sure there must me flatheads down on that end we never fish any further than the dam area. Stick with the Salt end it is much better fishing.

Does'nt the water flow out of the lake on the Tonto End?
~That's the West end of the lake...Right?

No Tonto Creek is a feeder creek. The water flows out thru the dam into Apache then on down thru the Salt River chain of lakes.
