Ft. Larmie in Ohio

well i did some catfishing lastnite at ft larmie , i manage to catch a few shad for bait, not many but a few!! i fished for 4 hours , without a hit , i guess i`ll have to try again another day.
the spot i fished was a new spot, that i thought might be holding some fish :angry: guess i`ll hit my old spot next time:big_smile:

Where is Ft. Larmie at in Ohio ? Never heard of it ! what kind of catfish are you after ? Channels or Flatheads ?

lake loramie is close to fort loramie. bout 40 miles north of dayton ohio. all channel cats altho the locals say theys blues. ida caught one by now if thay was any blooz in that lake.

last time i fished that lake it was only a few feet deep,so im guessing there is nothing of any size in it

some of the locals say that there is blue`s in there and some say that they are crossed with channel???
i hit a few 10-15 pounders, the lake isn`t really deep there is a few holes 8-10 ft deep, the lake is full of yellow bellies and bullhead,
there is alot of 3-5 pound channels in the lake :roll_eyes:
