This is one of three sonar units I have on my boat. I do not use the auto sensitivity mode or the auto depth range. I do on occasion use the Fish Reveal mode. I usually have my sensitivity setting around 68 to 72. I have my Grayline set at 70. These settings are not fixed in stone and I change them frequently. They are a starting point. This unit is my primary "fish locator" despite the fact that I have a unit(LCX-15-MT) with higher resolution on my boat. This one will get the job done.
