Is there any date set for a Kansas Catfisherman gathering in the near future and are OLD MEN ALLOWED??

I believe that the gathering is May 20 and 21, take a look under the main BOC page and look for the BOC gathering thread, you will find the Kansas thread.

It's sort of informal, but yes. Many of us are meeting at El Dorado this weekend, starting Friday night the 19th, for a fish and camp - nothing too formal. Check under the "Gatherings" section, look for "Kansas Gathering V 2.0." It would be a good chance to meet an assortment of the Kansas fisherman. Anybody who is willing to make a large donation to the Kansas general fund (some call it a "camping fee") can attend, we'll be set up throughout the state park below the dam on the Walnut River. Bring your big poles, the flathead fishing is supposed to be pretty good.
