Georgia catfishing

hey i am visiting ga for a week in july i think
wondering if the catfishing is any good in the lake in callaway gardens(where im staying)
also if there are any rivers/lakes within a fairly close drive of calloway gardens that would be ok for catfishing
my mom said thier might be a state park near by?

I have heard there was good fishing up there but that area I don't know to well. Try Googleing it and see
