i go to alot of farm ponds to find carp---i use field corn placed in a bucket with warm water -- place a screen over the top and let it sit in the sun for about a week-- keep water in to cover the corn---when it soures i throw out some where im fishing the bait up with the corn on a good hook with no sinker --- i let them run for a bit the put the bill dance set on them
( pull off there lips ) lol had alot of great luck with this bait!!!!
hope you have the same -let me know how you do...be safe

Ive caught about 5 carp this year at Yatesville Lake, there fun to catch my line took off and my pole bent double I thought I had a catfish on the pole till i got it close to the bank where I could see it was a 10 pound carp.

I used to catch a bunch at Carr Fork lake. The other day I was fishing below Fishtrap Dam and saw a guy get his pole pulled in the river. Somehow he caught the rod with his other pole when he reeled in. He then proceeded to reel in the rod which got pulled in and it still had the big carp on it. It was pretty funny to watch.
