I had the chance to fish below Lock #6 on Saturday. I didn't have a single bite but I kept loosing the nightcrawlers off my one rod. Couldn't figure it out until I finally reeled in a clam that was still holding on to the hook. Has anyone else experienced this? Or, am I the crazy one here?:tounge_out:

I have never had that happen to me at the river but at some of the lakes that I fish the claims always take the night crawlers. Don't worry you are not losing your mind yet. lol

Tim, I recall catching a clam a few years ago. Not a very common thing but it does happen.

I have never caught anything like that in freshwater, but I went fishing with my uncle off the coast of florida, and I hooked a big conch shell!!! It was 14 1/4 inches long, 12 1/2 inches around and it weighed 2 1/2 pounds!
