The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Water Resources web site lets you do that.

Real-Time water flow data for 55 different geographic locations. Hundreds of rivers and streams. The web site design allows for several pre-selected data displays or you can custom build one. Gage Height in Feet and Discharge in Cubic Feet per Second are the default charts.
