Went to fish out of Jesup. Figured I would scout around a bit before the big tournament. River was a little higher than I expected-(6.9 feet and rising). The 15-20 mph winds and boat traffic made fishing very tough. I fished starting around 1pm. and only caught a huge eel on a small shiner. Got a couple of bites after dark and finally got a small flathead around 12 pounds around 3:30am.
Not a great trip but always a blessing to be on such a beautiful river.

Cuda-Cuda, did you put in at Jaycee, and which way did you go?

Next time give me a call I would like to meet you. Not sure I can put you on many fish but I know a spot or two not far from JC's

Cherokee Laker: I put in at Jaycees. I feel comfortable leaving my truck there overnight. I fished downstream. I think I have only fished upstream about 2 out of 100 times.
