Caught some shad

I got a good haul of shad today at scott street on the east side of bridge

i would like to find some around adel. i have been told that there are some down river below the dam,i need to check it out.i never have used shad yet.

i wasn't even there for shad i was striper fishing on the shore and found an old throw net that was about 2-3 feet in diameter and a coat hanger so i made a basket tied a stringer on it and threw it out pulled in about 5 big shad keep doing it and got 3 freezer bags full
