Lake Monroe indiana - Catfish

Hi. I go to IU and I fish monroe whenever i need to satisfy my craving. I usually just fish for crappie b/c it's easier off bank. But lately i've been trying to do a little catfishing. I have tried under the causeway mostly. I was wondering if anybody knows of any good spots for bank fishing for catfish, and what do the locals use for bait up here? should i bring frozen shad from home? thanks for any help that is provided!

Along the causeways in the rip rap areas is a good place as are coves. I would use cut shad, chicken livers, and maybe some chubs or the biggest minnows you can find.

one of the causeways is where i caught my 9 # walleye , but which one is a secret...lol:cool:
