Kaskasskia river

do any of you illinois boys fish in the kaskasskia river

I used to fish it north of Lake Shelbyville. I used to bank pole it, trot line it, and fish it with a rod and reel. I caught some big channels and flatheads.

Yeah my aunt lived down there, and i have fished it before, never caught anything out of there, but i heard alot of people talk real good about it...id like to get out on it in a boat

My grandfather has a farm on the kaskaskia river. I catch lot blue ,flats, and channel at 9 mile creek, backwaters, and drifting main channel.:)

I fished the kaskaskia for the first time yesterday--did not catch a cat--but caught plenty of carp and sunfish!
