places to fish

Hello everyone,

I am relatively new to the area ( moved here from oklahoma) and was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on places to fish for some cats somewhere around the state college area, or somewhere close by?

im not familiar with State College area so bear with me ...

look in the find a park area for the central region

there are quite a few in your area and some of them have Channel Cats ...

you're relatively close to the susquehanna .. fishing for cats isn't so good up where you are .. if you head down the west branch towards sunbury you can get some good cats

if you have a boat i recommend launching at muncy on the west branch and running upriver a few miles .. theres a nice long deep stretch that's going to be filling up with wintering cats soon

also down in sunbury/shamokin dam is the fibredam .. lots of nice size channels stack up under there
