HI, i'm new to the BOC and wondered has anyone heard of any good spots to bank fish on lake mattoon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can fish the causeway if you are willing to walk a little way or there is a bridge you can fish by. Other than that a lot of people fish off the bank right by the marina. These are all fairly good spots.

I have caught some cats behind the cemetry next to the marina at different times. Lots of folks fish below the dam.
