Clendening 4-11-06

Went fishing at Clendening today...bank fishing as boat is not ready yet...got skunked. Beautiful day, good company, lots of food, but no cats. Tried shrimp, nightcrawlers, cut bluegill, and some sort of catfish nibbles my step-son bought at wally world...Nothing.

That sucks, they are bound to be hitting soon. Good luck next time out, but hey, you got out with your son. That is worth the trip there.

That's not good news. I'm itchin really bad. About right now I'll take almost anything. . . cats, crappie, saugeye, bluegill . . . maybe even a bass :)

I plan on fishing Clendening this evening, but mostly to stock up on gills and shad.......I will of course have a rod in for cats. Hopefully I will have something to report!

Ive been fishing glendening lake for awhile and have only caught small cats,can you guys help me out is there big cats in glendening lake?where is a good place to fish and whats the best bait?
