i just mounted my hummingbird 570 took it out today and while running fast it throws a rooster tail from the transducer and covers my engine with water what gives. i mounted it like it said my other question is can i mount the transducer to the bottom of the boat permanantly it is an aluminum boat or does it have to go on the bracket out back on the transom?
