Lake Isabella

I was up at Isabella on Saturday. They dropped the water level alot and killed off hundreds of Crappie. The upside is the catfish were real hungry, caught 23 Channels and Flatheads with about half being in the 1.5-4lb range. I call that a good day for 1 guy.

were exactly is this lake, i live in the oceanside area?

Quickest route is for you to take 15 up to 395 then to Ridgecrest, from Ridgecrest you gotta go east on 178, takes you right to the lake. It is about a three hour drive from where you are at but there is a lot of places to camp on the lakeshore for free so it is not a bad weekend trip.
