Beltzville is in my backyard. Years ago I was able to catch decent numbers of fish. However over the last few years cattys have been harder to find. Can anyone direct me to good catfish spots. I hear of decent action at nockamixon but I have'nt been there in about 15 years. I also do all my fishing from shore as I don't have a boat.

Baitkiller, I'm in northeast Pennsylvania in a town called Palmerton. I live about two miles from Beltzville dam.

I think Walenpawpack (sp?) would probably be closer to you and I know last time I was up there by my uncle's cabin the local bait shops had a bunch of pics of 10+ lb channel cats that came out of the lake. The thing I don't like about Walenpawpack is there is no horsepower restrictions so during the busy season you don't get much peace and/or quiet when you are trying to fish due to the personal water craft and skiers.

If you ever get up my way I would reccomend the Little Pine State Park Dam and spillway. Incredible indeed! Good luck!!
