I got this guy on opening day of 2003. Field dress weight was 328 pounds, 12 points although I winged his brow tine on the run. First shot was at 20 yards from a stand with a 7mm mag. Deer collapsed and then bolted so had to make a follow up to keep him from getting lost in the brush. Got him in North MO. Also this is my girlfriends first deer, a 12 pointer taken from the same stand on opening morning. She was shooting a .243 and had the time of her life. She made a head shot at about 100 yards, shot him from the back right between the ears. Hers field dressed at 224 pounds. Chris
