Hyco lake in North Carolina

anyone have any info on this often overlooked lake?

What would you like to know, i have fished there lots... Never heard of any big cats, i have only caught Channels, mostly under 6 lbs, nothing big but very good eating, and can normally catch 2 stringers every trip...not always, but most of the time..

planning on some night fishing there..was wondering about any spots i should try

Try any dropoff that goes atleast 8 ft deeper than the shallower water, Specifically try one of my spots, go off the ramp to the right go under the bridge and as soon as you get out of the no wake zone anchor in the shallow, and cast back towards the large metal powereline pole into the channel...
