Blue Catfish in Grafton!!

I got out on the river saturday morning, bank fishing and had a pretty good day. Who ever said that you can"t catch trophy cats from the bank must have never fished there before. I caught a 24.9lb blue cat in the grafton area using bluegill heads, and it gave me a good fight for about 10 minutes, I was impressed with the new hooks I was using, Truturn catfish hooks 6/0 good strong hook. I will be uploading photos soon!!!

Nice blue. I only bank fish, and have caught blues up to #50 here in tha Alton area. I have not been bank fishing in the Grafton area in years. Glad to know there are nice blues around the area. Good luck and welcome to the BOC.
