CHEAP deer bait

I tried this the other day and it really works. Go to Wally World and purchase a BIG plastic jar of peanut butter (has to be plastic). Remove the lid and drill a hole big enough for a screw or nail to go through the hole. Do not removal of the foil seal is not required.
Take this to your favorite deer location and remove lid and nail it to the tree. Now screw the jar back on the lid. Now take your knive and remove about 1/2 of the bottom of the jar wait in the deer.
Beats paying 15 dollars for a deer lick.

I saw the peanut butter trick somewhere a couple of years ago and tried it. Works great. Only problem is after Sept. 1 in Virginia, all attractants have to be removed!:angry: Our state does everything they can to make an outlaw out of you. This year I have planted clover feed patches which is nothing but legal baiting! Go figure.:confused2:
