Ohio River in Pennsylvania

has anyone fished the ohio yet this year. fish lock 3 of alleghany but had not luck on 3-31-06 went the the mon by homestead before work and caught 15 stripers size 10" -20" shad couldn't get to the bottom in time for the cats to get it.

I plan on going next weekend, down here in my area. Should be able to catch a few channels.

fished emsworth lock&dam last night didn't catch any cats. not even a bite water temps might still be too cold. couple people were also fishing and we catching sauger on jigs.

Raskipp, solid fishing at the emsworth dam down there man. A buddy of mine hooked into a couple of nice flatties down there last summer. Nothing beats time on the water. Best of luck to you
