Problem with my transduce Lowrance 520c

My sonar is reading two ft deep all the time, every now and then it will read pefectly fine. Not when I'm running either, when still or at idle. I've never had and cavitation problems. Anyone have any suggestions?

Wish I could help you out but I have been having a bunch of trouble with my 520c, Hopefully going to get it replaced or might just get tired of it and step up to a humingbird:big_smile:

go to the Lowrance web site get the code to do a soft-reboot ( after you totally check from the transducer to the unit ) you can re-boot a unit there is a soft re-boot & a hard re-boot if ya cant find it on line holler at my old friend johnny(777) he has the code:big_smile:

if its a thru hull make sure its still fastened to the bottom i had to pull mine up and reattach it with silicon works great now. if you can upgrade go to the side imaging im puttin one on next year. good luck!
