Went jugging today

Went jugging today on Lake of the Ozarks.

Caught 5 nice blues, one was 32lb on cut shad and perch sides. They were all caught on 30 foot jug lines in about 40-60 foot of water, in the mouth of a cove. Has anyone else had any luck?

Has anyone fished or had any luck in the main channel? I have never tried it but have always thought about it.

Nice job man! Would love to see pics. What part of the lake were you fishin? I have never tried cattin on LOZ but I wouldnt mind tryin sometime.

I have a old friend that used to fish from the "Nellie Belle" at LOZ. He would jug fish exclusively the main channel. he would spend the morning at his dock catching bluegill: the bigger the better, he said. He would hook them alive and jug them in the main channel with only a few feet of line under the jug. he claimed an average day was 30-40 lbs of flatheads. never a blue!!!
