can anyone tell me where is the best place within an hour of birmingham alabama to catch big cats from the bank?:cool2:

Logan is heating up and the big cats are starting to bite. 66508

We caught one good one this weekend and several in the high teens.

well i guess that depends on what part of b'ham. to the north you have guntersville, and wheeler. to the east you have the coosa river. to the west
and which is closer you have the warrior river, such as lock 17.if you have a boat warrior is closer , but tennessee river is a little better.

thanks for the help, i live close to irondale. been wanting to get down to lock 17 for a while. ive fished the warrior in walker county and caught some decent fish.

I have heard that the Warrior River near Northport has some great big cat fishing but havent been able to get over there to try them out. Out in the main channel near Hide-away Harbor marina looks like a pretty good spot...
