Tell City, Cannelton area in Kentucky

I was thinking of fishing this area soon. Any info on where to catch bait ect.

Abu, there are several discharges down river from Cannelton, Get your map out and you will see them.

there is a warm water discharge about a mile down river from the hawesville boat ramp. but you probably won't need to go down there being the temp is rising and the river is clearing up. skips ought to be fairly abundant in the next couple of weeks.

if you put in at Rocky point go thru the lock you should be able to get shad at the discharge at the cannelton dam, or if your landlocked go from Hawesville to the Weihouser plywood plant n follow signs great bank fishin there.

caught a 43.2 blue last friday and i caught an 18.4 yesterday below the dam. they are starting to turn on!
